What Information Do We Collect? How Do We Use It?

We collect your contact information, including your first name, e-mail address and/or phone number, as well as the answers to some questions to determine if you may be eligible to participate in a clinical study. Providing your information is voluntary. If you provide your contact information and indicate you wish to be contacted for this or future interviews or studies, your answers to the survey will help prevent having irrelevant emails sent to you. If you would rather not receive emails about this or future studies, you may notify us at any time and unsubscribe from any email we send you.

 

How Does KLEO Protect User Information?

KLEO has implemented reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. Your information cannot be accessed by anyone except the KLEO staff.  Your contact information will only be passed on, with your permission, to a clinical study site. 

 

What About “Cookies”?

The KLEO survey website does not use cookies or tracking technologies to access or store information. “Cookies” are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website that is stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that.

 

Will KLEO Disclose the Information it Collects to Outside Parties?

KLEO does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. KLEO may provide aggregate statistics about those who complete our surveys to a study sponsor or reputable clinical trial organization or study site, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.  We require companies and individuals that we work with to enter into confidentiality agreements restricting the use of personal information consistent with this privacy policy.  Your contact information will only be passed on, with your permission, to a clinical study site.  We may be required to share your personal information when we receive requests for data in the context of legal disputes, investigations, regulatory inquiries, or similar requests.
